A celebration for the descendants of William Dobinson Atkinson and Ellen Ainsley

Inspired by the centenary of the arrival of the family's first
immigrants to Western Australia, 11 September 1910

The Esplanade is near the Maritime Museum, and the Museum's location page [Maritime Museum] provides a convenient guide to the location of the Esplanade (use the maps '+' button to zoom in) and how to get there. Alternatively, see Landgate's [Fremantle CBD] map. Take away lunches are available in the adjacent [Fishing Boat Harbour] area if you do not wish to bring your own.

Google Maps [Ajana area]

The "Satellite" view of [Ajana area] will show you the intersection of North West Coastal Highway and Ajana Kalbarri Road. Use the pan and zoom functions to look more closely at Ajana Hills and Ajana Hall (easier if you "Hide panel" and widen your window). Selecting "Map" view gives a few more names of roads. Selecting "Earth" (needs the Google Earth plugin) gives you a chance to locate some topographical features, including (possibly) [Tynedale] and [Ajana Hall].
